However, if you think that you will face culture shock or won’t be able to work with low-income groups, you should not apply for this course.

Admission Process: Sept-Oct 2018

You will have to fill out the admission form below. We will contact you either via email or call to confirm a date for an online entrance exam. You are allowed to use the internet and seek help from others to find the answers in the exam. If you pass the entrance exam, you will be called for an interview. Upon clearing the interview, you will be provided with your CMHS credentials and school details. CMHS will sign an MOU/Contract with you in the first week of training.

The Entrance Exam and Interview

The entrance exam includes 3 sections. Section A tests your knowledge about the field of psychology. Section B tests your attitude towards counselling and children. Furthermore, it helps us understand which areas we need to work with you. Section C includes questions to understand your opinions, motivators and stressors.

In the interview process is a face to face conversation to familiarise you with the course requirements & description. We would also check your work & education history and your motivators & stressors. We would discuss which school you would be comfortable with.

Future Perspectives

CMHS will hire some candidates for a number of positions including school counselor, school team manager, in-house fellow counselor and counselor at CMHS center. During your course, we will help you develop your portfolio to apply for similar positions.
